Display Quality
Display quality figures are painted to a very high quality with multiple layers of shading, insignia and badges painted, complex camo patterns faithfully reproduced in small scale. Pictures never capture the finished quality of these figures that look very impressive when held in your hand.

Wargame Quality
Wargames quality is more realistic shades that require less time to reproduce, insignia is often not painted and camo patterns are limited to certain patterns reproduced to identifiable but basic level.
Updated June 2010: Wargames Quality are basic shaded, then inkvarnished painted then mat varnished.

Note on camouflage:
When I paint camo I always research the patterns very closely. When i first started to paint, it was the camo that I wanted to get right. I am very proud of the wide range of camo schemes that I can paint in small scale. Some I have adapted so that they are more stylised than the real pattern as these look better on the table top and can be identified at a long distance as what they are meant to represent.
Elhiem Painting Service (EPS) is a professional service with all the painting carried out by myself. As such I have a strict set of rules that I work to. I have a good reputation in the hobby for my painting and I approach all orders in a friendly and no nonsense manner.
Please be aware that these figures stand at 20-25mm high and these photos do show every tiny imperfection magnified many times over.All photos are of 'display quality'
A few basic rules I work too:
All figures should be 'tidied' before sending to me (flash and mould lines removed) unless I supply them in which case I'll sort it out. If the figures are not tidied, I may give them a quick tidy up if I notice, but, I also may leave them to one side if they are too disfigured. Time spent filling figures down could be spent painting.
All figures are spray primed with tough vehicle paint primer.
I don't varnish figures as standard as varnish can cloud and destroy the paint job as well as dulling the original finish. I can varnish if requested however, any loss in detail I cannot be held accountable for and will still expect payment. Prices do not include the cost of the figures. I cannot be held responsible for figures broken in the post I don't charge in advance, only upon completion. Figures not paid for within 6 weeks will belong to EPS. I will provide you with photos of the finished figure. If you are unhappy with the finished product I will retain the painted figures and return any unpainted figures to you (once you have paid for the postage). The painted figure will be kept by myself or sold on to recoup losses. I don't give out samples. I am very flexible and can paint in a number of styles Yes, I can supply the figures painted unbased Yes, I paint other scales, email me for a quote. Yes, I paint other eras as well - not Napoleonic's though, I don't know enough about it to get it right.

Want figures painted? Unsure of the correct uniform? that's not a problem for me. I have hundreds of books on WW2 so I will paint the figures accurately for what you want them to be without you needing to research button colours for weeks first.
Know what you want? Again, that's great for me, each figure can be given its own blow by blow instruction if thats what you want.
